Frequently asked questions
Common questions answered.
If your question is personal, time-sensitive, or about current operations, call Routine directly at (801) 839-4688.
What happens after I submit a consultation request?
Routine receives your contact details and preferred way to be reached. A team member will follow up about the right next step. Submitting the form is not a diagnosis, appointment confirmation, or promise of treatment.
Is Routine a substitute for emergency or primary care?
No. Call 911 for an emergency. Routine's services don't replace primary care, urgent care, or every specialty-care need.
Will I receive a prescription at my first visit?
Not necessarily. Any recommendation depends on the individual evaluation, clinically relevant information, contraindications, and a shared decision between you and the provider.
Can current patients use the consultation form?
Current patients can use it to inquire about a new area of interest. For questions about existing care, it's usually faster to use the approved patient communication channel or call us directly.
What should I put in the note field?
Brief context about why you're reaching out. Please don't include diagnoses, medications, laboratory results, images, or detailed symptom histories in the form.
Do you accept insurance?
Please call Routine for current insurance participation and reimbursement information.
Are laboratory and medication costs included?
Inclusions and exclusions vary. Please confirm current fees directly with Routine before making any financial decision.
Are results guaranteed?
No. Candidacy, response, timing, and outcomes vary by person and by service.
